Mission:

We are looking for a pragmatic and delivery-focused Product Owner to maximize short-term product value by owning priorities at User Story level.
You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that Sprint delivery is always focused on the most valuable and well-defined work, translating product direction into clear, actionable backlog items. This role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to balance value, risk, and delivery constraints in fast-paced environments.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Own and Prioritize User Stories
  Define, refine, and continuously prioritize User Stories to ensure teams are always working on the highest-value items.

• Be Accountable for Sprint Delivery Content
  Own what goes into the Sprint, ensuring scope and priorities are clear, achievable, and aligned with delivery goals.

• Maximize Short-Term Product Value
  Make day-to-day prioritization decisions that optimize immediate and near-term product impact.

• Ensure Product Readiness
  Guarantee that User Stories are clear, testable, and supported by sufficient context, acceptance criteria, and constraints.

• Manage Execution-Level Dependencies
  Identify, coordinate, and track product dependencies that affect Sprint execution, escalating when necessary.

• Represent Product Needs in Capacity Discussions
  Support Sprint and short-term planning by representing product priorities and trade-offs.

• Use Metrics and Feedback to Inform Decisions
  Leverage delivery data, product feedback, and insights to continuously refine priorities (without owning product metrics).

• Collaborate Closely with Scrum Masters and Teams
  Work in partnership with Scrum Masters and delivery teams to ensure focus, flow, and predictable delivery.
  

Profile and requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Scrum-based or agile delivery environments.

• Strong ability to decompose complex work into high-quality User Stories.

• Solid understanding of agile delivery practices and product development.

• Comfortable making prioritization decisions under uncertainty and time pressure.

• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills at team level.

• Hands-on experience with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.

• Product Owner certification (PSPO I/II, CSPO, or equivalent) is preferred.
