The Role

You'll work at the intersection of engineering and field deployment, embedded with customers across the World. Starting from TEKEVER's product baseline, you'll develop and integrate customer-specific features, working directly alongside the customer's technical team to understand their needs and deliver solutions that work in the real world. This isn't support, it's engineering in the field.

Location: Caldas da Rainha when not travelling to customer sites

What you'll do

• Develop customer-specific features and integrations on top of TEKEVER's product baseline

• Work directly with customer engineering and operations teams on-site to understand requirements and deliver solutions

• Translate operational needs into technical implementations quickly and effectively

• Maintain system integrity while extending functionality for customer-specific use cases

• Feed learnings and insights back to TEKEVER's core engineering teams to inform product development

• Travel regularly to customer sites around the World as part of your core role

What you bring

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience

• Solid cross-domain technical foundation, electrical, electronics, software, and mechanical

• Comfortable picking up unfamiliar systems and building on top of them

• Strong communication skills, able to work directly with customer teams in a professional, field environment

• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a bias for getting things done

• Willingness to travel regularly

Nice to have

• Experience with unmanned systems, avionics, or complex embedded systems

• Background in systems integration or field deployment

• Familiarity with government or regulated operational environments
