What will be your responsibilities:

• Strategy and Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for modular architectures aligned with company objectives. Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for modular architecture products within your portfolio;

• Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to create a detailed product roadmap outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines;

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, customers, analysts, and partners, to gather requirements, prioritize resources, and ensure alignment;

• Product Development: Oversee the full product development lifecycle for modular architecture solutions, from initial concept and design through implementation, testing, and deployment. Ensure that architecture and interface solutions meet quality, scalability, performance and modular architecture standards;

• Work in close collaboration with systems engineers, hardware teams, integration specialists, and other product managers to drive innovative technical solutions;

• Manage the product backlog, including documentation of user requirements and interface definition criteria;

• Prioritize and sequence the backlog according to business value and customer needs;

• Lead sprint planning and reviews;

• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product success. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement;

• Monitor product performance and gather feedback to support future development;

• Take ownership of complete delivery of modular architecture products within your portfolio;

• Stay current with sector trends and emerging technologies in modular systems and architecture design.
  

Profile and requirements:

• Higher education in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or similar;

• Proven experience (more than 3 years) as Product Owner, Product Manager or similar role in the technology industry, with focus on modular defence systems or intelligent systems;

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering and modular architecture technologies, including systems integration concepts, interface standards, and open architecture frameworks. Experience with platforms, tools, and frameworks for modular systems (e.g.: MOSA, FACE);

• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams and stakeholders;

• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide multifunctional teams;

• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;

• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g.: Scrum, Jira);

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making;

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable plans and requirements;

• Practical experience with technical participation in solutions;

• Passion for innovation and for being at the forefront of the defence sector;

• Preferably, possess Product Owner certification (for example, Professional Scrum Product Owner™ (PSPO I) or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®));

• Language requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, with proven fluency at C2 level in both languages.
