Mission:
The LO role is a critical part of the operational deployment ensuring that the operation is conducted in line with the customers’ requirements and to be the TEKEVER Ltd representative on location.
What will be your responsibilities:
- Liaising with external entities e.g., Border Force, Coast Guard, etc...
- To Task the flight teams accordingly dependent of the customers’ needs and to keep all teams (External/Internal) up to date with mission critical information when presented.
- To participate in the customers daily/weekly briefings/meetings.
- To participate in the flight crew daily briefings if requested by RPIC.
- To participate in the customer bi-daily Aerial Asset
- Planning meetings.
- To update and disseminate the Flight Plan every 48hrs or as required.
- To oversee the creation and dissemination of the mission report in coordination with the RPIC and to review if requested.
- To daily book airspace no later then 24hrs in advance for all flight activities ensuring the timings comply with the customers requirements.
- Interface with Customer / End-Users (related to CONOPS, DC interface and definition of Missions unless on EMSA Operations then stays with the DM)
- The Handling of evidence (Mission footage / witness statements) to be passed to the CIB from the flight crews.
- To ensure the imagery being fed into the Joint Control Room is set up and operating correctly.
- To be the Point of Contact for the Border Force, Coast Guard and Clandestine Threat Command.
Profile and requirements:
- Aviation knowledge (Flying/MET/Airspace). Current competency as a UAS Pilot / RPIC on Tekever Systems.
- At least one year’s Operational management experience.
- A thorough understanding of UAS Operations and deployments.
- Experience in the UAS industry.
- Experience of customer services.
- Understanding of State regulatory flying policies.
- Qualities and Attitude
- Well-organized, good team player, problem -solving approach. Approachable, diplomatic and charismatic.
- Proactive, ‘can do’ attitude.
- Corporate loyalty and integrity.
- Understanding of Operational deployments.
- UAS Industry Knowledge (Aircraft/Sensors/Systems).
